year, Americans discard
millions of tons of old
or broken electronics,
creating potentially toxic
and harmful waste known
as eWaste.
We
are dedicated to providing
a "greener" more
sustainable Penn State,
and are putting programs
in place to make it easier
on you to do your part
too. Here are some says
we can help you "be
green".
![]() Participate in our Laptop, iPods (and more) 4 Credit Trade-in Program. The Laptop Computers (and more) 4 Credit Trade-in Program is a hassle-free way to get rid of your old or outdated personal laptop, MP3 player or PDA. batteries, and cell phones, and we’ll recycle them for you. Learn how>> We're
doing our part for the environment
by:
Using Recycled/Renewable Papers, whenever possible, for all Store advertising materials and business purposes.
Asking you to Skip the plastic bag when shopping in our store. Requesting the
use of Eco-friendly Soy-based
inks from our printer for
use on all Store marketing
materials in an effort to
avoid contributing to toxic
airborne solvents found in
traditional petroleum-based
inks.
Partnering with
other University organizations
towards advocating the energy
efficiencey, waste reduction,
